Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Support Specialist to join our team at Smart Motion Physiotherapy And Sports Clinic. This role is essential in assisting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assistance: Support physiotherapists and occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or disabilities.
  • Equipment Management: Set up, dismantle, and maintain therapeutic equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Clinical Support: Administer tests and record results while monitoring and calibrating auditory equipment as needed.
  • Wound Care: Clean and dress wounds, apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages under professional supervision.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient progress and vital signs, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain supplies, order necessary equipment, and keep track of inventory levels.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle clerical tasks, including scheduling appointments and processing health insurance claims.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
