We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Firmware Developer to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our firmware development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing innovative firmware solutions for our medical devices.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop firmware for medical devices using C/C++ programming languages
- Implement safety, sensing, and therapy delivery modules
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and firmware developers to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components
- Investigate reported anomalies and implement corrective actions
- Conduct code inspections and design reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Develop and maintain test platforms and integration tests
- 2-5 years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on medical devices
- Advanced knowledge of C/C++ programming languages and experience with low-level hardware development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a disciplined development process
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience with RTOS is an asset
- Competitive total cash compensation range: $83,000 - $116,000 (CAD Annually)
