We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Analyst to join our team at Kingston Process Metallurgy Inc. As a Chemical Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting tests and analysis using various physical and chemical separation techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct tests and analysis using chromatography, spectroscopy, and other physical and chemical separation techniques.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and operate laboratory apparatus.
- Set up chemical experiments, tests, and analyses, and assist in their conduction.
- Compile records for analytical studies and use MS Office for data analysis.
- Operate experimental chemical or petrochemical pilot plants.
- Education: Chemical engineering technology/technician, analytical chemistry, or related field.
- Experience: Industrial research, method and technique development, and analysis.
- Skills: Chromatography, spectroscopy, physical separation techniques, sampling, and spectometry by Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP).
- Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel.
Our laboratory is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you will work under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
