We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at AR Construction & Renovators. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing any damage.
- Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to surfaces using a variety of techniques.
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
- Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of work.
- 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
