Job Title: Team Manager, Disability Management Services Office

CS Group Canada, a leading provider of safety-critical systems in the aerospace, electric, and autonomous driving industries, is seeking a highly skilled Team Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Team Manager to lead our Verification team in the certification of aircraft Electronic Engine Controllers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical quality, defining work packages, and implementing software verification processes.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure technical quality of deliverables and review team output
  • Define work packages and manage suppliers for outsourced activities
  • Develop and implement software verification processes
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts, focusing on quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery
  • Instill a positive work ethic in the team
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients on technical subjects
  • Provide weekly status updates and workload assessments to the Project Manager
  • Identify and provide team training
  • Participate in the development of the company through involvement in technical and commercial proposals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Verification & Validation of Embedded Software in a DO178B or DO178C environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a team lead, with experience in team follow-up, reporting, team building, and motivation
  • Knowledge of software tools such as SCADE, Matlab/Simulink, C, C++, Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN, and Mantis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Curiosity, autonomy, proactivity, and ability to find solutions
  • Ability to isolate and troubleshoot hardware, system, and software problems
  • Fast learner and ability to adapt easily to new systems
  • Team player with great attention to detail
