We are a reputable and independently owned denturist's practice seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Technician to join our team.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing plaster models and moulds, maintaining and ordering supplies, and performing various technical tasks related to denture production.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Production: Prepare plaster models and moulds, mould wax over dentures set-up, finish metal framework of dentures, prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays, pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures.
- Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies as needed.
- Technical Skills: Possess skills in plastering, packing, waxing-up, polishing, and assembly.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: Experience in the field is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in plastering, packing, waxing-up, polishing, and assembly.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and possess manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to distinguish between colours.
- Free Parking: Free parking available on site.
- Permanent Position: Opportunity for a permanent position with a reputable and independently owned denturist's practice.
- English Language: English language proficiency required.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
