Your Role as a Transit Dispatcher

As a Dispatch Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our on-demand transit system in the Niagara Region. You will be responsible for coordinating drivers, managing routes, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch drivers effectively, providing clear instructions and real-time updates.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Monitor driver activity and ensure adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
• Utilize dispatch software to manage routes, track vehicles, and communicate with drivers.
• Collaborate with the Dispatch Supervisor to optimize operations and address any challenges.

Your Profile:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in customer service and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a transportation or logistics setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks in a demanding environment.
• Proficiency with computer software, including dispatch systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
