Job Title: Student Transportation Assistant

Pembina Hills School Division is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Student Transportation Assistant. This role requires a self-directed team player who is passionate about providing support and encouragement to a student with diverse learning needs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support on a casual basis to a student with complex needs and behaviorally challenged students. The role involves working as a member of the school team to ensure the student's safety and well-being during transportation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse needs and be able to communicate effectively with students and adults.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and encouragement to a student with diverse learning needs
  • Work as a member of the school team to ensure the student's safety and well-being during transportation
  • Communicate effectively with students and adults
  • Assist with daily tasks and activities as required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with complex needs and behaviorally challenged students
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work as a member of the school team
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
