We are seeking a skilled Jewellery Repairer to join our team at AlfaIn International Inc.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining jewellery items, including watches and clocks. They will also be involved in appraising gemstones and diamonds, examining, cutting, shaping, and polishing precious and synthetic gems, and fabricating and repairing precious and semi-precious metal jewellery.
Key Responsibilities- Clean all parts using special cleaning and rinsing solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning machines
- Perform repairs and adjustments on watches and clocks
- Appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and to detect peculiarity affecting stone values
- Examine, cut, shape, and polish diamonds and precious and synthetic gems
- Fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal jewellery
- Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewellery mountings
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Manual dexterity
- Sitting
The successful candidate will work in a jewellery store environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of quality in their work.
