Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mixology Expert to join our team at HAP Alaska-Yukon. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and serve drinks according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist with serving tables, taking food and drink orders, and running food and drinks.
  • Organize and set up the workspace before, during, and after each shift, including stocking, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all bar equipment.
  • Promote menus and recommendations to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant, maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Operate a computerized point of sale system, completing financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work and storage areas, including routine washroom checks and restocking of needed items.
  • Contribute to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and assist with serving tables and running food/drinks.
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 19 years to serve alcohol in the Yukon.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years to reside in company housing, where available.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BARS Training/Certification.
  • Basic math abilities and ability to process financial transactions.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to prioritize work and maintain attention to time constraints.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
