About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive. As a key member of our global business process team, you will be responsible for providing business-facing support and development for various applications in the Supply Chain Planning Applications (PP and QM).

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an expert for global business processes within the function, owning the execution of different projects and ensuring the smooth execution of critical business processes.
  • Collaborate with business teams, technical teams, and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.
  • Understand and apply Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities.
  • Manage and/or perform the Design, Build, and Testing of Business Applications and its Architecture in line with agreed Time frames, Business Requirements, and Global Standards.
  • Ensure the accurate use of Information Technology project management SAP 5-step project management methodology to comply with Information Technology governance practices.
  • Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing, and implementation phases of projects.
  • Mentor and coach junior developer resources.
  • Review program codes and suggest corrections in case of any errors.
  • Performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and changes in the world of SAP development and adapt to these changes by self-training and research work.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in Manufacturing (PP & QM) and its Integration, End-to-End projects integrating with various systems, e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and MES Configuration.
  • Good understanding of SAP PP & QM, including Material Master, Bill of Material, Routing, Production Version, Quality Management Master Data, and Transaction Data.
  • Good understanding of Production Planning and Execution - Discrete & Repetitive Cycles, MTS, and MTO.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs into technical specifications in English.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally and in written formats.
  • Proficient English language skills.
