Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team at EcoBloc Inc. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable management, and general ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, and adaptability.
