Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at Burling Ranger Company Inc. as a Mason's Helper. This permanent position involves working outdoors, at heights, and in dusty environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and be able to lift heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist the medical examiner in charge
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Experience with circular saws, concrete saws, mortar and concrete mixers, grinding machines, grouting machines, chippers, air compressors, drills, and forklifts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
