Position Overview

As a Construction Ironworker at Peakpark Construction Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and installation of various metal structures. This position requires a blend of physical strength, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other essential working platforms.
  • Conduct job-site calculations to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Align, weld, or bolt metal units securely in place.
  • Dismantle metal, pre-cast concrete, or laminated timber structures as needed.
  • Inspect and test structures and equipment for signs of deterioration, defects, or non-compliance with regulations.
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh within concrete forms to reinforce structures.
  • Unload and strategically position steel units for efficient hoisting.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
