We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Pleadings Clerk within our Pleadings department. This role will report directly to the Managing Partners and encompasses a variety of essential functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, revising, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
- Drafting legal pleadings with precision.
- Composing standard correspondence and memos.
- Ensuring that court submissions are executed accurately and punctually.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- A Legal Certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience in personal injury law for 2+ years is preferred.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Empathetic nature with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to demonstrate initiative and sound judgment.
- Adaptable to fluctuating work demands, volumes, and schedules.
- Other clerical and administrative support tasks as directed by the management or legal team.
