About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at A2Z Networks Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our computer networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
  • User Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Network Monitoring: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, and maintain control records to ensure network security and integrity.
  • Data Management: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
  • Performance Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure efficient network operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in network administration.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
  • Work Terms: Permanent position, 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
