Position Overview:
The Security Operations Center Analyst role at BlackBerry QNX involves critical responsibilities within our Hybrid Security Operations Center, focusing on both Security Operations and Vulnerability Management.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from a variety of tools
- Investigate and respond effectively to security incidents
- Implement and oversee security measures to safeguard assets
- Collaborate with IT and other teams to resolve issues
- Produce detailed reports on security incidents and trends
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and scans
- Stay informed about the latest developments in security
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline
- In-depth understanding of security incident response protocols
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cybersecurity management positions
- Background in development operations
