We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyperson to join our team at Hebert's Recycling Inc. as a Maintenance Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities.

• Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
• Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• Advertising and Communication: Advertise vacancy and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of employees and visitors.
• Supervision: Supervise other workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
• Lawn and Garden Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a visually appealing environment.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Work Environment: Work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing work environments.
• Weather Conditions: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure a safe and accessible environment.

• Equipment Operation: Power tools, security system, small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments), snowblower.
• Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
• Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
