Job Summary

La résidence de st-Philippe is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our nursing home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Serve meal trays, weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, make beds, and maintain patients' rooms.
  • Personal Care: Bathe, dress, and groom patients, and transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher.
  • Communication: Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and administer first aid in emergency situations.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to security protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

La résidence de st-Philippe is a nursing home/home for the aged, providing a supportive and caring environment for our patients. As a Medical Assistant, you will work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Language

The primary language of work is French.
