About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Black Sparrow Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in framing and carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for framing and carpentry projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to the highest standards
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to ensure they meet our quality standards
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent handling of heavy loads. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be physically fit to meet the demands of the job.
