Extreme Reach is seeking a talented and experienced Test Automation Manager to lead our strategic approach to software quality assurance. This role demands a deep understanding of automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and diverse testing methodologies.

As the leader of our automation team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our comprehensive test automation strategy. You will guide and mentor a team of skilled engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and excellence in software development.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect, implement, and oversee the evolution of our test automation framework, ensuring its alignment with evolving business needs and technological advancements.
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to a team of dedicated automation engineers, fostering their professional growth and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and QA, to define clear test automation requirements that directly support project goals and overall product success.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts utilizing industry-leading tools such as Cypress, Selenium, and Robot Framework.
  • Integrate automated tests seamlessly into our CI/CD pipeline, ensuring continuous testing throughout the software development lifecycle and promoting rapid feedback loops for improved quality.
  • Conduct comprehensive unit, functional, and integration testing to guarantee thorough test coverage and identify potential issues early in the development process.
  • Analyze test results meticulously, extracting actionable insights to enhance product quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in the field of test automation, proactively incorporating innovative solutions to optimize our testing processes.
  • Ensure that all automated tests are reliable, efficient, maintainable, and adhere to established coding standards for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to automated tests and test environments, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted testing workflow.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and concisely, providing valuable documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing within the team.
