We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in workplace incident investigations and provide accurate interpretations of applicable Provincial and Federal OHS legislation.
  • Identify deficiencies at branch level to assist in the development of H&S initiatives.
  • Assess risk management and implement solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Liaise with contractors and regulators to facilitate and initiate H&S activities.
  • Develop effective H&S presentations, workshops, and training programs.
  • Train employees on Forklift and Power Equipment.
Requirements:
  • Certification in OH&S System Building, OHS Roles & Responsibilities for Managers & Supervisors, Hazard Assessment & Control, and Joint H&S Committees/Representatives.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of OHS experience.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
  • Ability to train, supervise, and coach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within the produce industry.
