Industry Solutions FSI Domain Expert

The worldwide data management software market is a massive and rapidly growing industry, with a forecasted value of $82 billion in 2023 and $137 billion in 2027. As a leading developer data platform, we are at the forefront of innovation and creativity, and we are looking for a passionate domain and technical expert in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) to join our growing remote/flexible, globally dispersed Industry Solutions team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align MongoDB technology and feature set with the Financial Services Industry and ensure we understand clients and their needs to develop modern solutions, modernize software legacies, transition to modern solutions, and guide them through continuous data-driven modernization.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the FSI industry worldwide, including its most current and progressive innovations, trends, and needs.
  • Play a key role in winning deals and driving the business forward and be a trusted advisor to a wide range of clients from startups to the world's largest enterprise IT organizations.
  • Partner with our sales team to help ensure success in accounts ranging from small startups to large enterprises, structure relationships and build templates to engage with various client communities.
  • Present MongoDB's position at various events - either in person or digital.
  • Represent MongoDB in international organizations, in workgroups, committees, standardization bodies.
  • Demonstrate resilience and sound judgment in dealing with business challenges and guide more junior colleagues to a successful resolution pattern.
Requirements
  • Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems and modern software architecture patterns.
  • Ability to discuss a broad range of data technologies, including RDBMS, document, key-value, unstructured, NoSQL, JSON, XQuery/XML.
  • Experience working with various database products, ETL tools, and financial software solutions.
  • Experience with database programming and data models.
  • Additional language skills in other languages (Conversational is appropriate).
