Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Motorcycle Mechanic Apprentice to join our team at Indian Motorcycle Of Red Deer. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and service, advising customers on work performed and equipment condition, and testing and adjusting repaired equipment for proper performance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service on motorcycles, snowmobiles, and all-terrain vehicles
  • Advise customers on work performed and equipment condition, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance, ensuring high-quality workmanship
  • Participate in apprenticeship training programs to develop skills and knowledge in motorcycle repair and maintenance
  • Work with industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, ensuring safe and efficient operation
  • Develop expertise in motorcycle, snowmobile, and ATV repair and maintenance, with a focus on area of specialization
  • Conduct criminal record checks and driver's license validity checks, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Use personal tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles
  • Work collaboratively as a team player, demonstrating judgment, reliability, and a commitment to excellence
  • Participate in health benefits, including dental and healthcare plans

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset, but not necessary
