Vice President of Finance and Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance and Operations to join our team at Stonewood Group Inc. in Kingston, Ontario. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving financial and operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive financial and operational growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a high-performing finance and operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging best practices and technology to drive business outcomes.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance leadership or controller roles, with a proven track record of driving financial and operational excellence.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial and operational data to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, and other continuous improvement methodologies, with a proven ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
