About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kids and Company. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that foster creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning, including storytelling, singing, and exploring local attractions.
  • Encourage children to express themselves through various forms of art, music, and physical activity.
  • Support children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Monitor children's progress and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with licensing regulations and ensure compliance in our childcare setting.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and respectful environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork among staff and community partners.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that meets the needs of all children.
Requirements
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Work Environment
