We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Directs Store Delivery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and processing direct and local merchandise for delivery to the salesfloor, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandise Coordination: Ensure high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location, and process direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise and alcohol.
- Training and Development: Train other DSD Associates to follow all receiving area processes, promoting a culture of excellence and efficiency.
- Receiving Area Management: Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, preparing returns, claims, and MTRs for prompt shipment with all necessary documentation.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow and promote safety rules for lifting procedures, box blades, pallet jacks, and ladders, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to effectively correct any problems or discrepancies, and safeguard backdoor and key controls to ensure compliance with Company guidelines.
- Cold Chain Compliance: Follow guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance, documenting all necessary information on the Receiving Temperature Log/Sure Check App.
