Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Baekjeong Korean BBQ House Edmonton South. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet the high standards of our restaurant.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
- Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking and presentation.
- Team Player: Demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with our kitchen staff and management.
- Duration: 1 to less than 7 months
- Employment Type: Permanent

- Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
