Position Overview:
As the EMEA Tax Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related functions within the EMEA region. Your role will involve ensuring compliance, enhancing operational efficiency, and aligning with global strategies. You will lead a dedicated team, collaborate with various stakeholders, streamline processes, and drive ongoing improvements. Your expertise in tax management and stakeholder relations will be crucial in transforming our tax operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Tax Services team in the EMEA region, serving as a prominent representative and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide other team members, ensuring their responsibilities are fulfilled effectively.
- Act as the primary liaison with the Global Tax Service and broader Global Tax teams to ensure alignment with global initiatives.
- Serve as a key escalation point, fostering trusted relationships with stakeholders and clients involved in managed processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify and enhance existing processes, facilitating the integration of additional work into the tax service framework.
- Execute tax operational tasks in accordance with established frameworks, including direct and indirect tax coding and managing conditional queries.
- Implement relevant internal controls associated with the Tax Services as per agreed frameworks.
- Address tax process inquiries for the region and direct them to appropriate resources for resolution.

Essential Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in finance, particularly in tax management, with substantial experience in large tax environments.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively and build collaborative relationships.
- Familiarity with ERP systems development, particularly in indirect taxes, with a preference for SAP knowledge.
- Professional qualifications such as CTA and/or ACCA, ideally with experience in a Big 4 firm.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.
- Proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).
