Technical Artist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Technical Artist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our content creators as they develop world-class content.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and monitor game performance and memory usage, generating reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with debugging content, lighting, and shader issues, working closely with artists to identify and solve technical problems.
  • Diagnose problems related to level creation and support the world team, ensuring seamless game development.
  • Work with artists to identify and solve technical problems with existing tools, streamlining the content creation process.
  • Support content creation when needed, collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • A knack for trying new things, figuring out how things work, and picking up new tech to solve problems.
  • A general understanding of various 3D modeling and texturing DCC to Game Engine workflows.
  • Familiarity with existing game engine workflows and a sense for how to analyze and structure data in software like Excel.
  • Passion for knowledge sharing and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
