Hairstylist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team at Red Earth Barbershop and Beauty Spa. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and analyze hair and scalp condition to provide custom hair and scalp treatment.
  • Shampoo customers' hair and apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair to meet clients' physical features and preferences.
  • Supervise apprentices/students in training and suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and require hand-eye co-ordination.
Personal Suitability
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player are essential qualities for this role.
