Job Title: High School English Teacher/Tutor

We are seeking a part-time English Teacher/Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position that requires working during after-school and evening hours, as well as some Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum
