Actuarial Student, GFS Risk Management

RGA Reinsurance Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Student to join our GFS Risk Management team. As an Actuarial Student, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including premium reset exercises, inforce monitoring, and process automation.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and analyze premium reset exercises using Excel and/or GGY AXIS
• Prepare calculations, reports, and analyses for day-to-day inforce monitoring
• Automate processes and enhance documentation for inforce and risk management using Excel and/or Python
• Support data extract review for Admin system transition with actuarial knowledge
• Support experience analysis on longevity business and prepare reports for valuation
Requirements
• Enrolled at the University level and pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics, with a major in Actuarial Science
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge and understanding of actuarial concepts at a level commensurate with applicant's educational experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
• Experience using GGY AXIS and/or Prophet
• Programming experience in VBA and/or Python
• Passed at least one SOA exam
