MRC Global is seeking a highly skilled Regional Distribution Center Manager to lead our distribution center team in delivering exceptional service to our internal and external customers.

Job Purpose

The Regional Distribution Center Manager is responsible for creating a safe and efficient work environment that inspires and engages the distribution center team to deliver results. This position is accountable for the successful delivery of materials within a defined region, maintaining compliance with MRC procedures and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve distribution center operations, including safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage a team of distribution center employees, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure financial performance and compliance with MRC policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA and DOT requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and maintain a positive reputation for MRC Global.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • At least 7 years of experience in warehousing or logistics, including demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate and promote ideas, transfer detailed knowledge to others, and lead a team to achieve results.
  • Certification or ability to be certified to operate fork trucks, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet MRC Global's vehicle policy requirements.

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently.
  • Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global's guidelines and expectations, including the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.
