Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of logistical activities within the organization, collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless workflows.
  • Monitor the movement of goods and materials, tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Dispatch personnel according to established schedules, coordinating driver assignments and routes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipment details, utilizing relevant software systems for data management.
  • Stay informed about highway trucking regulations and industry best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate information flow and resolve logistical challenges.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
