As a Kitchen Operations Aide at SMOKE POUTINERIE, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen environment. Your contributions will ensure that our culinary team can focus on delivering exceptional food experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of simple food items, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Service Support: Bring clean dishes and utensils to serving areas, set tables, and package take-out orders as needed.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of food supplies, stock refrigerators, and assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Waste Management: Responsible for removing kitchen garbage and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an asset, with a preference for candidates having 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
This position requires working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, where you will be expected to perform repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
