About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our medical device products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, fixturing, and automation.
  • Perform engineering, functional, and performance testing of electrical/electro-mechanical components, subsystems, and complete systems.
  • Conduct electrical safety and EMC testing and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) input to the engineering print package.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to drive innovation and excellence in our products.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in test automation and fixture design.
  • Experience with automation in LabVIEW.
  • Strong understanding of engineering and problem-solving principles, concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Equipment and fixture design experience.
  • Process development experience.
  • Ability to translate theoretical and abstract ideas into meaningful innovation.
  • Programming experience in Python and/or C/C++.
  • Data-driven individual with statistical analysis experience.
  • Design experience in new product development.
