Job Title: Foreman

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Foreman to join our team at our Grande Prairie location.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily organization and dispatch of technicians, ensuring quality repair work for the Grande Prairie Service Department. They will also advise and make recommendations to the Service Manager regarding technician skills and training needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Supervise and mentor service technicians to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with customers, service team members, and other branch personnel to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department, opening and closing work orders, and preparing work orders for warranty
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of the service department
Requirements:
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required
  • Experience in a service department setting required
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred
  • Forklift license preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
