Job Summary:

The Academic Progress Manager will play a critical role in supporting students' academic progress and success. This position will be responsible for managing student progress, providing guidance and support, and building strong relationships with families and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Progress Management: Manage students' progress in different programs related to personal development and college admissions, ensuring they stay on track to meet their academic goals.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide regular meetings with students to offer guidance and support, helping them overcome challenges and achieve success.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Serve as a bridge between families and counselors, keeping parents updated on their child's progress and results. Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with families and students, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Counselor/Student Interactions: Oversee and manage counselor/student interactions, ensuring effective communication and a positive experience for all parties involved.
  • Curriculum Development: Design curriculum related to academic planning and application, helping students develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in college and beyond.

Requirements:

  • Native-like fluency in Mandarin;
  • A Bachelor's Degree, English or Education major is preferred;
  • Passion for education and student success;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • A fine attention to detail and diligence;
  • Project and time management skills;
  • A proactive, trustworthy, and impeccable work ethic;
  • Experience or knowledge of US education and college application is a plus.
