Kitchen Assistant Job Description at Bombay Kitchen Ltd.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bombay Kitchen Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

**Responsibilities**

* Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to ensure a high level of hygiene and food safety
* Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas in a timely and efficient manner
* Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain kitchen tools and equipment
* Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
* Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for preparation and cooking

**Requirements**

* No degree, certificate, or diploma required
* Experience an asset
* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment

**Work Details**

* Work Term: Permanent
* Work Language: English
* Hours: 40 hours per week
