Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fitter to join our team at Bradshaw Iron Works Limited. The successful candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with a focus on producing high-quality steel products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks to produce steel products, including beams, columns, and other structural components.
  • Operate various welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, and ensure proper maintenance and upkeep.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents to understand project requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 5 years or more
  • or equivalent experience
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Python, Tekla
  • Transportation/travel information: Own transportation
  • Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Welding helmet
  • Screening questions: Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?
