Job Title: Millwright Helper

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Helper to join our team at The Bucket Shop Inc. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist our millwrights in performing routine maintenance work on machinery, fabricating parts, and installing equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist millwrights in performing routine maintenance work on machinery, including cleaning, repairing, and replacing parts.
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
  • Install machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including lubrication, inspection, and repair.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Willing to relocate for this position.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with heavy equipment and machinery. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
