**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing our product, working closely with our CTO and existing team of backend distributed systems engineers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems
  • Collaborate with the CTO and engineering team to drive product decisions and prototyping
  • Lead the development of a new application for Security Operations teams to work at scale

**Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in backend engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java or Scala (preferably Scala)
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented software design, concurrency, and networking
  • Experience in building REST APIs (Open API is a plus)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
  • Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, and Machine Learning
