Job Summary
VCA Canada is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Kingsway Animal Hospital in Hamilton, ON.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgical preparation and patient recovery.
- Conduct physical examinations, patient assessments, and take vital signs.
- Administer medications, perform venipuncture, and collect blood samples.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Provide exceptional care and compassion to hospitalized patients and their owners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.

Requirements
- Graduation from a veterinary technician or animal health technician program.
- Registration with the Ontario Veterinary Technician Association (OVTA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
