We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team at Altair Engineering. As a key member of our HyperStudy product development team, you will play a crucial role in advancing the convergence of simulation and data.

With a strong background in C++ and Python, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining large-scale software products. Your expertise in numerical methods, visualization, and connections with other software will be invaluable in shaping the future of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain large-scale software products using C++ and Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
  • Work on numerical methods, visualization, and connections with other software
  • Contribute to the development of our HyperStudy product suite

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software development experience in C++ and Python
  • Experience working on large-scale software products
  • Multiplatform development experience (Windows/Linux)
  • Familiarity with engineering, computer simulation, CAD, and meshing
  • Experience with Statistics, Design of Experiments, Optimization, Stochastics, and Machine Learning
