About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Ter Kadamba Educational Society. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our preschool and ensuring the well-being and education of our young students.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of educational programs and activities for children aged 3-5 years.
  • Support the lead educator in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, rest time, and outdoor play.
  • Help with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and communication with parents.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of programs and policies.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in early childhood education an asset.
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
