Department Manager

At RONA, we're looking for a skilled Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and have a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient replenishment processes
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve store objectives and improve operational efficiency
  • Provide coaching and feedback to employees to enhance their performance and skills
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives, applying them in a way that supports our business goals
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role, preferably in a supervisory capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
