About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing curriculum, designing and revising courses, creating an effective learning environment, teaching, and assessing student progress. They will work collaboratively with colleagues, participate in committees, and contribute to the development of strong links with professional associations and practice settings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum graduate degree in Nursing - PhD in nursing or working towards obtaining a PhD.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse and member in good standing of the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Superior interpersonal communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • A student-focused approach utilizing engaging and effective teaching skills
  • Strong knowledge and application of current pedagogical principles
  • Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of principles of equity and inclusion
