Job Title: Plumber Technician

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Technician to join our team at Oakleaf Home Services Inc. as a key member of our plumbing services department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. This includes locating and marking positions for pipe connections, cutting openings in walls and floors, and joining pipes using various materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Supervise other workers and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Perform routine maintenance work and make adjustments to plumbing systems
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Assist with the installation, assembly, and repairs to equipment
Requirements:
  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Pre-apprenticeship training
  • Level one to five apprenticeship training
