About the Role

Fusion Authentic Indian Cuisine is seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of traditional Indian dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that our team is equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for our staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
